Peer-to-peer digital assets exchange, on Sui. Initially focused on gaming assets, but longer term all types of digital assets.
Uses a 3-key escrow mechanism to enable trading of not only NFTs, but also web2 assets. With Overtake as the arbiter, holding the third key.
Simple business model: transaction fees.
Token
Token $TAKE. “Governance and utility token.”
- Sellers can stake for premium features.
- Platform revenue is distributed to stakers.
- Platform revenue is used to burn tokens.
- Use $TAKE for fee discounts.
- Stake for early access and other perks.
Seems decently well thought out. In theory it should work, as they get real fiat revenue from people trading on the platform.
High inflation, especially up until 2028.
Team
Doxxed, but not much info. An article says they are South Korean:
“The platform was developed by professionals with experience in digital asset marketplaces, including early platforms such as ItemBay and ItemMania.”
Just reading the documentation is seems they have a decent understanding of the gaming asset market.
Founder and CEO has background in “near-pro” gaming. I read interviews with the CEO, and the cheif business officer. Got a good impression.
