Product

Decentralized physical network for hi-def 3D mapping, to use with for example spatial AI.

Data collectors buy hardware to provide data to the network, and customers buy that data. They have two hardware devices: the TarantulaX and the LightCone. TarantulaX is an RTK receiver for GEODNET, giving high accuracy geolocated video when paired with a mobile phone. The LightCone is a full LiDAR device that you put on your car, that generates 3D mapping data with 2 cm accuracy.

The network is in operation, with 2,155 active devices as of December 2025, mostly covering USA, central Europe, and Thailand.

Token

Token $ROVR. It is used to reward data collectors, and 60% of revenue goes to buy back and burn tokens.

Burns started in November 2025, and so far 2.2M tokens have been burnt (out of a total 10B). Burns are smaller than reward payouts, so far.

They also just launched a staking program, where you can stake $ROVR tokens to redeem a hardware device. As of writing in December 2025, you can stake 300k $ROVR to get a LightCone (about $2,500). Shipping in January 2026.

Team

Headquarter in California. Mostly Chinese. Seem to have solid industry experience.

Founded in March 2024. Later raised 2.6M in a seed round led by Borderless and GEODNET.

Community

Active on X, and the Discord has some activity. Not a huge amount, but there are certainly people actively involved using their devices.
